Brew Contests are held periodically throughout the Year, and are open to anyone age 21+ who wishes to enter or judge entries. Here’s our standard rules:
- Beers are blind judged by all present, including brewers.
- $5 fee per entry, paid back to top 3 places.
- No “old” brews: nothing you have won previous contests with.
- We don’t get too hung up on rules, but please do follow the contest guidelines.
- Contests are open to mead or other yeast fermented beverages if they follow the contest guidelines.
Upcoming Contests
October 2025: Pumpkin Beer Contest
Guidelines: Pumpkin added to any beer style of your choice. Squash is allowed (there’s some thinking that pumpkin doesn’t add “pumpkin” flavor to beer). Mead or other yeast fermented beverages allowed.
January 2026: Dupe Your Favorite Cheap Beer Contest
Guidelines: Don’t get too hung up on the details, guys, just dupe your favorite low ABV crushable beer that you can buy anywhere.
